About Me

Ann Hawkins Founder of The Inspired Group To contact me send me an email or phone 01480 830282

Over the last 20 or so years I’ve got to know a huge number of business owners who have shared their visions, dreams, skills, ideas and expertise through our events, workshops and MasterMind Groups.

Mentoring is a hugely satisfying way for people to develop their skills and access a really useful network and leads to lots of exciting business developments:

Ann and I have been working together to build my business for over a year and there is no way I would have been able to have made so much progress, in such a short time without her. One reason for this is the well thought out and structured approach to formulating a workable business plan designed to move your business through carefully planned stages, regularly measuring progress and adjusting the plan accordingly so that objectives are met on schedule and within budgets. Working with Ann has been a real pleasure and each step of progress we’ve made has been a fun and exhilarating journey. One distinct advantage has been the ability to tap into Ann’s huge network of specialists and experts who have all been eager to step forward and help both me and my business. The cost of that luxury alone has more than paid for itself. Before I engaged Ann I was bogged down with running the business rather than building it. If it wasn’t for her “stick” to keep nudging me in the right direction, her close attention to detail and well established business practices to nuture and guide me I would still be stuck doing exactly the same as I was over a year ago. If you’re serious about moving your business up to the next level and beyond then you need Ann and her “nudging stick” to help you get there. Believe me when I say “You won’t regret it!” Ian McKendrick http://ianmckendrick.com

The Inspired Group grew out of a desire to offer practical solutions to people who want to get off the treadmill of swapping time for money and create an enterprise that will exist and have a value without them. To see so many people enjoying their businesses, thriving and still friends after so many years is one of the main reasons why our monthly events have such a wonderful atmosphere – something that is remarked on by almost everyone who attends.

I am one of the rare people who loves public speaking and sharing ideas through most forms of communication. If I’m not talking, I’m writing, blogging or tweeting and believe that the ‘new’ media (blogging is ten years old!) is a huge advance in breaking down barriers to communication, isolation and stereotypes. I’m living proof that you can teach an old dog new tricks and now incorporate how to use social media in my mentoring to teach business owners how to reach their busines goals easier and faster than ever before.

Read my Inspired SuperBlogI’ve been blogging for over five years now – publishing articles by all the inspirational speakers who have shared their ideas, knowledge and expertise at our events. I like win/win situations where we get what we want by helping other people to get what they want. The most exciting evidence of this takes place in the Inspired MasterMind Groups where business owners share ideas and create new opportunities for each other.

Seeing so many people present their business in different situations prompted me to write two ‘tongue in cheek’ booklets:
“How to Make a Fabulous First Impression (or why we ALL fall for Talll Dark & Handsome Men)”
and
“How to make Networking Fun”
If you’d like a copy – just ask.

To get to know me better, warts and all, just follow me on Twitter but please don’t send me hackneyed quotes, tips that make me go ‘duh!’ or anything to do with the dreadful Follow Friday. In return I’ll introduce you to some fascinating people and help you to promote your business in way that doesn’t get up people’s noses!
